What is EmailCheck?
EmailCheck is an email validation and deliverability platform that helps you verify email addresses, reduce bounces, and improve inbox placement.
How do I verify a single email?
Enter the email in the verification box on the homepage and click Verify. You can also sign in for more verifications and bulk checks.
Is there a free tier?
Yes. New accounts get free monthly verifications. See Pricing for plans and limits.
How do I do bulk verification?
Sign in and go to Bulk Verify. Upload a CSV or paste emails; we process in batches and you can download results.
What does "deliverable" mean?
Deliverable means our checks indicate the mailbox exists and can receive mail. We combine syntax, domain, and mailbox checks for accuracy.
Can I use the API?
Yes. Paid plans include API access. See Documentation for endpoints and authentication.
How do I contact support?
Use the Contact page or the form at the bottom of the FAQ page. We typically respond within 2 hours.
What file formats can I upload for bulk verification?
We accept CSV and TXT files. The file should have one email address per line, or a column header "email". Max file size and limits depend on your plan.
Do you store or reuse the emails I verify?
No. We process verification in real time and do not sell or reuse your data. See our Privacy Policy and Terms for full details.
How do I get an API key?
Sign in, go to Profile or Developer settings, and generate an API key. Use it in the Authorization header for API requests. Keep it secret.
What counts as one verification?
Each email address checked (single or bulk) counts as one verification. Re-verifying the same address counts again. Credits are deducted per verification.
Can I cancel or change my plan?
Yes. In Billing or Account settings you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel. Changes apply at the next billing cycle unless otherwise stated.
